What is country style? And how will it be reflected at home?

This is a short blog with photos from my projects to give you a small taste of my country world and maybe help you understand if this is your preferred style.

Country style is mainly characterized by using materials in their raw state - different types of dark wood, natural stone, brick cladding, natural iron frames, and decorated textiles with a rough texture.
The use of colors compliments and matches the natural materials - shades of cream, beige and delicate brown.
The feeling created by the country style is warm and inviting due to the dominance and richness obtained in the space using raw materials, warm colors, and rough textures. This style will suit mainly large and spacious spaces that receive a considerable amount of light and know how to absorb and contain all the wealth in the space.

When we are "in love" with this style but don't have such a big space, it doesn't mean we need to change the style!

We can create a magical space in a country atmosphere by toning down all the country elements. For example, we will combine light walls and choose carpentry in a light shade painted with shlifelaque (as opposed to carpentry that is all natural wood which feels heavier) without, of course, giving up the molds in the fronts and exterior handles that are mainly characterized by the country style.

Unique carpentry is a prominent feature of this style - using external handles and molds on the fronts in the kitchen cabinets, children's rooms, entrance hall, closets, or storage library in the living room. The doors of the rooms and even sometimes the walls will receive additional molds to upgrade the flat appearance and enhance the country look.
As I told you earlier, the entrance of light is of great importance in the country style. Therefore the design of the openings deserves special attention. The connection to nature is evident when choosing the location and size of the windows. The openings are important for framing the landscape and strengthening the connection between the interior and exterior. Most of the time, in a country-style house, we will use iron or Belgian aluminum window frames with divisions to enhance the space's overall design

Country-style kitchen:
Designing fronts with molds, engravings, and decorations includes using external handles. The design of the kitchen cabinets will almost always not reach the ceiling and leave a space that can be finished with a decorative cornice.
To complete the look and, if we have enough space, we will combine a central island with moldings and engravings. We will add decorative legs and a stylish toe kick if we like a true country style. We will use a standing stove and oven unit that combines metal to enhance the rustic look.

Country-style living room:
A distinct element of the rustic style is the creation of a shiny "power wall" in a color that matches the overall design, to which wall-mounted lighting fixtures or standing lighting fixtures with warm lighting are often added to enhance the feeling of warmth, domesticity, and rurality.
A comfortable and inviting seating set, usually in a combination of textures and decorations and with many pillows. The living room table is made of exposed raw wood combined with metal moldings will be a perfect fit here!
