A private house in Hod Hasharon was designed for parents + 3 teenage children. The house was designed in a modern, clean, and minimalist design, using white, gray, and black shades.
The central element of the house is a sheet metal bookcase that reaches the height of two floors. The library faces the living room, the stairwell, and a work area on the upper floor. It thus actually fulfills two important functions - both practicality and aesthetic.
The house is built on three levels, an entrance floor with public spaces, an upper floor that includes the bedrooms for the parents and two children, and a basement floor that has been converted into a cozy and spacious housing unit for the daughter.
On the entrance floor are a warm family living room, a dining area made of solid wood in the family's vintage style, a white kitchen with a wide island, a pantry, and guest toilets designed in the same style as the rest of the house. The entire floor is cladded with natural marble stone flooring.
In the center of the house are concrete stairs, covered with parquet, leading to the family area on the upper floor and the basement. The combination of an iron railing forms a direct continuation of the basic color palette chosen for the home design.
A work area on the upper floor is designed according to the customers' needs, with 3 bedrooms and a shared shower.
Further down the floor, the master suite was planned, which includes a large double bed, a luxurious shower, and a separate area in the room that serves as a pleasant open closet with custom-made carpentry. The floor is covered with natural parquet for a particularly warm feeling.
