There is great importance in planning and designing bedrooms. This is our most intimate, personal, and private place, where we end the day and want to feel calm and relaxed.
To create balance in the room, we must start by correctly positioning the furniture and creating a pleasant and comfortable space for staying.
We must find the right ratio between the furniture and the space size. We can design a carpentry wall combined with hidden lighting, design a bed back, dressers, a makeup area, and work area - a complete room that we can control down to the smallest level of details and everything in a unique way and at a high level of planning and execution.
Most of the time, we would like to floor the bedrooms with pleasant-to-touch parquet. We can add a carpet as an additional accessory and an element of the room's softness and warmth.
Curtains are an important and inseparable part of bedroom design. Beyond being decorative and adding grace, they create another dimension of warmth and softness, constituting a practical solution for creating isolation and darkness.
The combination of wallpapers can undoubtedly upgrade the room's visibility and design, usually not at such a high cost. Of course, when choosing the right wallpaper, you must consider the surrounding colors, the design style, and how much clutter we have in the space.
Colors in the bedroom
The initial tendency is to think that bedrooms require us to choose a calm and quiet palette. However, it is not mandatory because the feeling that a color gives is individual. This is where you can go wild and express yourself to your heart's content. Of course, balance and harmony must be present no matter what you choose.
A little tip, before you start whitewashing the whole room, if it is a room that is not large and even cluttered, it is better to choose a light color that will bring light into the space and a sense of spaciousness.
Bedroom Lighting
Beyond the natural light that we strive to bring as much as possible into the room, we need and are required to plan proper and functional lighting. In addition to central lighting in the room, it is important to add lighting fixtures in various areas that require additional lighting, such as the makeup chest, the dressing area, and reading lamps by the sides of the bed.
For maximum indulgence, and the truth that this has long been the standard, we will make sure to plan exchange switches on the sides of the bed (Because who has the strength to get up and turn off the light after we go under the blanket?).
A ceiling fan is a great idea. But it is important to take into account that the lighting that comes when choosing a fan that includes a light fixture (as is usually the case) that is not particularly strong and requires us to enhance it - either with a wall lamp or through a magnetic strip profile if it is a large space or MASTER BEDROOM.
Lighting fixtures hanging on the sides of the bed create atmospheric lighting, add grace and uniqueness, and will match the design style we chose.
So if you don't know where to start but are looking for the balance I talked about in your room, feel free to contact me,
