A private house in Ramot HaShavim was designed for a couple + 2 teenage children. The design is modern-rural and directly connected to Moshav's environment.
It is characterized by using natural materials and many openings to bring plenty of natural light into the house's interior.

The house, spanning 2 floors, was designed in the shape of the letter H because of the desire to create separate spaces that connect to one.
The choice of a rustic design is a connection to the Moshav's environment. Therefore emphasis was also placed on choosing natural materials that create a design mix in a modern, inviting, and warm-rustic style.
Due to the desire to bring nature into the home, windows were designed in four exposures in combination with transparent curtains that bring natural light and the garden into the house's interior. The tenants gave the designer a free hand in the property design so that all the stages of design, architecture, interior design, and styling were done under the same roof.
As soon as you enter the house, you feel the connection to the pastoral environment, thanks to the choice of furniture in warm and pleasant colors in a country style and their combination with materials as natural as possible, such as solid wood parquet, a tiled roof ceiling with exposed wooden beams, a dark brick wall and a large fireplace in the middle of the public space.
The kitchen features modern touches reflected in the choice to leave the air conditioning duct exposed, special chairs, modern-style lighting fixtures, and, of course, the electrical appliances and the refrigerator in particular, which give the space an innovative look with retro touches. The kitchen features modern touches reflected in the choice to leave the air conditioning duct exposed, special chairs, modern-style lighting fixtures, and, of course, the electrical appliances and the refrigerator in particular, which give the space an innovative look with retro touches.
The addition of the iron-made chandelier above the living room forms a dominant lighting element. It integrates well with the existing design, which includes a brick wall in a dark color, in contrast with the floor. The wall is both a decorative and functional element due to its location in the center of the space near the fireplace and the dining area.

The bedroom area of the house also gets the same rustic design with a nostalgic aroma that preserves nature in every space. In the master bedroom, the wooden beams create a unique space due to the lowest areas, which required creative solutions for the closets and bathrooms because of the desire to keep the beams as a dominant and special element.

The sloped wall of the parents' room enters the bathroom space. It creates a creative connection point due to the need to align the ceiling into a uniform line and connect the spaces, giving the feeling of one suite rather than two separate spaces. A chic urban design was chosen for the guest bathroom, combining colorful wallpaper and metal cabinets and a dark toilet with a stylish door and sink.
The exterior spaces of the house - the yard, pergola, and barbecue area were also designed, both in terms of the choice of vegetation that surrounds them and in terms of the use of natural materials of wood and stone. The pergola, an entertaining outdoor area in the yard accessed through the kitchen, continues the design line that preserves classicism with rustic touches combined with wooden items. In contrast, stone and wood have been combined in the barbecue corner, constituting a rustic and natural design story.
