Location: Ramat Hasharon
Built area: 294 square meters
Lot area: 760 square meters
A private house in Ramat Hasharon was designed for a couple + 4 teenage children. The house was designed in a modern line, resulting in a breathtaking project, revealing a spiral staircase and skylight openings in an exposed concrete ceiling, which bathe the house in pleasant natural light.
The house features black and white alternations with a semi-elegant and unique appearance, enhanced up to the point of admiration, creating a timeless project.

A glimpse of the house from the yard does not reveal the magical design that hides behind the front door. An iron gate leads to the building, designed with straight lines and hidden behind a white wall. The impressive and spacious front door, in a dark color, opens to the entrance hall, where the design story of the house is revealed. When you enter, your eyes are drawn to the impressive spiral staircase made of two-layer sheet metal that serves as a design and practical element at the center of the space.
In designing this house, we used as many natural materials as possible, such as wood, iron, stone, etc. We created exposed design elements, such as metal and concrete in the ceiling, with openings that let in natural light.

The house is divided into three floors: an entrance floor with the public spaces, an upper floor including the bedrooms, and a basement floor converted into a luxurious housing unit for the daughter. Near the front door is a gazebo, lush with vegetation, including desert vegetation, bamboo, and shrubs, which gives the space richness and brings nature and light into the living room. On the other side of the room, vitrine doors are covered with a thin and light curtain, forming a connection point to the yard and bringing natural light into the space.
The location of the living room on the left side of the house introduces visitors to an eclectic space, very neat but nevertheless unique and homely, thanks to the combination of design items, some of which are very old, including a sofa covered with ethnic fabric, a red armchair, a grand piano and an antique chest of drawers.
The items were collected by the owners from all over the world, bringing points of light into the living room and creating a connection point. Through the living room vitrine doors, it is possible to view the pool located in the yard and approach it.

On the right side is the kitchen, in an eclectic design, clean, and yet very rustic, thanks to the combination of items made of wood and a variety of elements that create a warm atmosphere. In the same space, a country-style dining area is parallel to the bar, enabling direct eye contact between the two areas. At the entrance to the kitchen stands an impressive vertical wine rack made of black sheet metal that reaches the ceiling.

The upper floor includes the parents' bedrooms and their three children. For this part of the house, narrow and long doors were chosen, higher than the standard.
A bridge was designed to connect the wings between the parents' room and the children's rooms. Above it are round lighting fixtures that descend from the ceiling and correspond with the concrete openings. The bridge forms an independent space, visible from all the house's open areas.

The bedrooms have been designed with many windows that bring a lot of natural light into the rooms and access to the balconies. The sharp-eyed will notice a disconnection in the ceiling, so you can't see the connections of the curtains, thanks to the plaster ceiling that creates a perfectly straight line.
This disconnection is also repeated in the bathroom, which received a very clean and minimalist design, in direct continuation of the design line of the house, including a skylight above the shower, in which large shower heads were integrated. To create a pampering and designed space, a color palette ranging from beige to light gray was chosen, and two sinks were combined. Also, the same tiles were used for the exterior, interior, and bathroom flooring (as flooring and wall covering), except for areas where a mosaic covering in shades of gray and beige was incorporated. This combination creates an impressive unity.
Floating stairs lead to the basement floor and above a perforated bridge that creates a design contrast and is a unique point of interest. This space was converted into a bedroom for the girl and received a clean and romantic design.
