A private house in Kfar Shmariaho was designed for a family that consists of parents + 3 children.
The house was designed in a modern style with a prominent design element: visible construction - massive iron beams.
It has a design that combines luxury and nostalgia, emphasizing the connection to the environment and the combination of furniture items that the couple collected from all over the world.
The combination of natural materials such as wood, iron, and marble, new pieces of furniture and lighting fixtures, and a perfect connection between them to the existing mix of items is the "dowry" with which the tenants arrived.

The style of the house is very modern-industrial, especially from the outside, with a visible construction that is part of the facade and had an impact on the design of the house with the combination of plaster and iron.
The house is built on three levels: an entrance floor which is half a level with stairs covered in black sheet metal with a glass railing leading to a mezzanine floor; an upper floor, where the bedrooms of the family members were located; and a basement floor. A wide door leads to the impressive entrance floor, revealing an elegant Mad Man-style study with large iron doors that give a glimpse of the impressive vintage items that create a clean and elegant design line.

The clean design line in the living room, combined with vintage furniture, continues to the round-oval dining area, which includes non-uniform colored chairs and two lighting fixtures, one hanging with warm light and the other standing, which looks totally like a designed sculpture.
The kitchen, from which you can see all the other spaces on the floor, attracts the most attention due to its surprising colors, a perfect connection between black cabinetry and a light blue refrigerator, and an "informal" dining area in white, a color combination full of contrast.

The most prominent element in the house's exterior design is the iron beams, a massive construction with a heavy presence. Therefore, it was decided that it is worth "utilizing" this presence to benefit the home's design and showcase it, instead of trying to disguise it. Thus, we turned it into a special design element repeated in several focal points in the house, such as the pergola, the base for the balconies, and a cover for shutter boxes in the living room and kitchen.
The upper floor splits into two wings: a parent's wing and a children's wing, designed with en-suite bathrooms with openings to balconies overlooking the yard and bringing natural light and the outside into the house's interior.
The location of the pool was selected so that it would be reflected as much as possible in the house. Also, the green surrounding encircling the house was emphasized, turning it into a pleasant pastoral view that inspires a calm atmosphere and a sense of home.
